Barrel length is 16”, 5.56/.223 caliber To obtain a suppressor a person must go to a class iii dealer purchase the unit. I use it for steel target shooting, 200 yards to 500 yards
Priorities are maximum noise reduction, maximum reduction in recoil, minimum back pressure, minimum exposure to toxic gasses With the new bill allowing hunting with a silencer the owner of the suppressor must file some type of document with the kansas department of wildlife if using it for hunting Ffl allows you to own a silencer
Hello all/responce to liebo1 ron l = seresurplus no, it doesn't and in fact, if your holding an ffl, you better learn a lot more about the gun laws, or the atf will be locking you up
Silencers are the control of the atf and federal, yes, some states have some say sa about ownership, but licencing for a class 3 for that is federal, not state! Imo, i would be frightened by a suppressor that just fit on the end of a barrel that was not a threaded barrel The reason is there must be perfectly alignment with the bore of the rifle or pistol and suppressor I have seen those that had the quick suppressor disconnector made for it on a barrel
The individual installed the suppressor on the disconnector slightly canted and the bullet. I have a glock 22c, i have been curious as to how effective a suppressor would be on my gun seeing as how it has a ported barrel
Have any of you tried this? Silencer central has been suggesting people learn this very simple process for years If you read any of the blogs dealing with suppressors it became pretty common with that group a while ago. Question for you fine folks
Went shooting with my bonehead buddy and he put my canned rifle in its bag before letting it cool down Now the suppressor has the inner materials (pretty sure it is a foam/nylon material) of the bag melted onto the exterior It is like a huge black stain I went through the process of getting my form 1 approved
It was 7 months, but would only have been 6 had i filled the paperwork out correctly
I built the suppressor for a.223, with plans on going through the process again to build one for a 9mm pistol My question is if i drill the one. It may be in effect
