So i had an axle seal leak (front passenger) back in april, and took the jeep in to the dealership and they changed out a new seal The pinion seal, axle shaft seal, diff cover seal? Only a month goes by and i found the same seal began leaking again

I know this is some crazy bad luck, but does anyone know if there are possible reasons behind. I've looked and can't find the part # for just the axle seal. Had a pretty good leak from my pass

Just doing some research, it appears these dana axles now have front axle disconnects on the passenger side to help fuel economy On the outer side of the fad (watching some tear down videos) it appears there is a seal there as well

Seems a hell of a lot less intrusive to get to vs cracking open the differential But given where the leak is, the seal on the fad would have to be bad (also. I have a seal leak on my front axle, driver's side Its happened once before, and i had the seal replaced

Gear lube is coming out again, splattering in the wheel well an in the driveway

I've been checking it every 2 thousand miles and the most i ever put in was less than a 1/4 of quart of lube Been off roading alot in mud and water I know not smart but. Problem is, now there is a very significant oil leak out the driver's side end of the front axle, at the wheel, like a seal failure

The leak is definitely brand new right after the accident, was not occurring before Less than a year ago, the other front axle seal (passenger side) was replaced after it had been leaking. Can anyone tell me the part # for a rear axle seal
