Although tj maxx and marshalls stores with runway departments get their items from legitimate sources, there have been many cases in which dishonest crooks bought genuine items and returned fakes. After checking 2 out of 3 locations the best i found was a gucci satchel (i wasn't interested). If there is a purple tag item in a store without a runway department, that means it was probably purchased at a runway store and returned at a non runway store

Don't know that i could spot a fake
Tia i have seen authentic gucci bags at tjmaxx, but most of them were made for outlets type bags. There was a black bal city at our tj maxx last summer and it turned out to be a fake so you have to be careful Was it a fake or a knock off I've seen knock offs of bbags ironically at the runway location i visited
