Learn to perform a fishless cycle in your new aquarium using dr
Tim's one and only live nitrifying bacteria. Just a quick question.i'm now on day 10 of the dr tims one and only cycle using the dr tims ammonia Just curious what everyone’s preferences are when using dr tims one and only to do a fishless cycle.
A) do you initially dose ammonia and add dr tims one and only bacteria then let the tank do it’s thing
When the ammonia and nitrites hit 0 after a few weeks you go back a dose a little more ammonia. I have started the cycle with dr Tim 's ammonium chloride, and i added some dr Tim's one and only on the first day
None of the directions i've found say specifically how much of the one and only to add Some say add the whole bottle and others say nothing (just the dosing for the chloride). This video goes through how to use out one and only live nitrifying bacteria to successfully cycle your aquarium It provides hints and troubleshooting tips.
I like biospira more than dr tim’s… if you need to buy more i would recommend getting biospira instead, but if you still have some dr tim’s you can use that
Biospira was also invented by dr tim before he branched off to have his own company and it seems to me that it works faster.
